At the end of the day, everything begins and ends with leadership.The culture of the organization,  climate for health and wellness, and its eventual success depends on good leadership. Great news is that good leaders can be developed, and investment into their growth is the key to sustained success of organizations. Steven’s philosophy of leadership development is simple, good leadership begins and ends with self awareness. Self awareness that has the potential to instill a learning posture which can fuel sustained growth.

To that end, leadership development under Steven will consist of the following

INCREASE SELF AWARENESS - Up-front 360 degree feedback assessment.

Awareness of strengths and weaknesses is the beginning point of growth. Steven will meet with the leader to bring awareness to some blind-spot issues that may need addressing. As well, Steven will work to highlight strengths, and empower the leader for focused leadership based on identified strengths.

IDENTIFY KEY BEHAVIORAL CHANGE OPPORTUNITIES

There are a multitude of behavioral measures in leadership development. Moreover, many blind-spot issues may be revealed through the 360 degree assessment.  As such, Steven can work with the leader to identity key behaviors that needs addressing in the immediate.

DEVELOP A PLAN

Work with the leader to create actionable behaviors that can be measured.

FOLLOW THROUGH

Steven will meet with the leader to coach and focus the leader for consistent growth over a substantial period of time.  Leadership development is a lifelong learning process, and any development efforts take time to take root. As such, a 6 month is the commitment is the minimum Steven will need from the leader or organization to assure success. Through face to face, video conferencing, and text communication, Steven will work to assure real measurable  growth.
